Green Valley Interfaith Volunteer Corps
- Director of Volunteer Services develops and oversees program of over 50 volunteers from twelve faith-based congregations in Green Valley, as well as volunteers from the community at large.
- All volunteers are trained to provide in-home support services to low income adults who are homebound, frail, or disabled.
- Assists GVAS Case Manager on collaboration with the client and immediate family.
- Services include: grocery shopping, errands (pharmacy, hairdresser, bank), visiting, caregiver relief (respite), light housekeeping and light home maintenance.
- Volunteers help with special projects—(Back-to-School and Holiday Programs).
