Fund-raising events include the Annual Gala held in October of each year, and a new and exciting Empty Bowls event scheduled in March of 2007 to help families fight hunger as well as support both the Green Valley Assistance Services and the Green Valley Community Food Bank.
GALA—Our sixth annual “Rags to Riches” Gala was held October 14, 2006 and was the largest fundraiser ever for GVAS. The GALA involved the participation of many individuals and businesses through the many man-hours involved in order for it to be such a success.

6) Under the State of Arizona Charitable Tax Credit , you can provide a cash donation to GVAS and receive a tax credit on your AZ Income Tax. Contact your tax advisor on how this tax credit can benefit your personal tax situation.
