Accomplishments in 2006:
GVAS provided $129,028 to recipients as follows:
- 2,407 people living in 752 households
- $80,611 in financial assistance paid to vendors of goods and services as follows:

144 Case Management home visits in excess of 600 hours
- 633 referrals made to area agencies and public assistance programs
- 3,881 volunteer hours provided in support of 46 seniors choosing to maintain their independence but needing assistance with grocery shopping and/or other services in the home
- School supplies totaling $14,467 were provided to 225 school age children in Sahuarita/Continental School Districts (a back-pack and a $50 Wal-Mart clothing gift certificate included w/supplies)
- $33,950 in gifts provided to 491 children in 159 households during the Christmas/Holiday Program
GVAS is a "Qualifying Charitable Organization" under The State of Arizona's Charitable Giving Tax Credit Program for Private Donors (ARS 43-1088)
