Green Valley Assistance Services (GVAS) has a governing Board that determines our mission, sets policy for its operation and develops strategic plans. The Board establishes fiscal policies, approves the annual operating budget and ensures that financial controls for operations are in place.
Board members are GVAS emissaries promoting and educating the community, civic organizations and businesses about GVAS services. From time to time, Board members participate in fund-raising activities to support the existence of GVAS.
There are currently thirteen Board members serving staggered terms. Our Board members come from all walks of life, some retired, and some gainfully employed; however, all Board members must maintain a primary residence in Green Valley.
